Chameleon wine Konrad: Our wines

Why the name Chameleon wine?

Artisanal wines are chameleons. Every year is different, every wine is unique. This fact makes wine a very special drink for us.

Our wines are the result of meticulous manual work. The careful cultivation of our vineyards is essential, because only healthy grapes form the basis for exceptional wines. Our philosophy is to bring the character of the vineyard into the bottle as unadulterated as possible.

How we work in the wine cellar

The winemaking of our Chameleon wines is characterized by traditional methods: The grapes are harvested by hand, crushed and then gently pressed in a historic basket press. The must ferments in both modern stainless steel tanks and old wooden barrels. This natural process allows the wines to develop their full personality.

The result

Our wines spend a lot of time on the lees, which not only gives them remarkable complexity, but also impressive length. The moderate use of sulphur and the absence of other wine treatment agents underline our approach of preserving the authenticity of the wine.
